Northside Center

Northside Center was our very first project as a firm and set the foundation for how we work today. We were hired to actualize a long-awaited vision for a permanent home for this legacy institution, which provides mental health and early childhood services to more than 3,600 children annually in New York City. The result was a 28,000 square foot mixed-use facility that expanded Northside’s presence and deepened its community roots.

We provided strategic leadership from site evaluation through design and construction, guiding the project through complex development conditions and aligning stakeholders around a unified plan that prioritized mission, community, and long-term viability. We assembled and managed a highly capable project team and maintained steady oversight to ensure quality, cost, and schedule benchmarks were met.

More than a building, the project exemplifies our approach: working hand in hand with organizations to turn vision into built reality. Its true success lies in the thousands of children and families who now have expanded access to care, education, and support in a warm and welcoming environment.
