Faye Premer, AIA

Founding Principal

Faye excels at managing all aspects of project development. She drives the project team, including clients, through strategic planning, pre-development, design and construction to ensure the completion of successful projects on time and on budget.

Faye gained invaluable real estate development experience through her work with Civic Builders, a non-profit urban developer where she joined as a project manager in 2005. Over her tenure with the company, she grew into the role of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Real Estate Development managing over one million square feet of educational space.

She spent the formative years of her career learning from architectural leaders, Polshek Partnership Architects in New York (1999-2003) and Tuck Hinton Architects in Nashville (2003-2005). Faye’s love of “design excellence” is evident in every project she takes on. About the Work will only engage in projects that will positively impact the community she and her team are working with.

Faye is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a Licensed Architect in the State of New York. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University.

Mary Hanna, LEED AP

Principal

Mary is proficient at executing all aspects of the construction process. Her expertise lies in managing contractors, budgets, project controls, coordination and compliance to aid in the successful completion of every project.

Mary began her career as a project engineer at Gilbane Building Company in their Management Training program and gained experience in all aspects of the construction industry: the field, scheduling, estimating, quality control, purchasing, and safety. She continued to hone her skills as a Project Manager at Hunter Roberts Construction Group managing $45+ Million dollars of work for developers, universities, and non-profit organizations.

Mary is a LEED accredited professional. She graduated from a dual degree program with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management and Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
