Achievement First – Brooklyn Middle School

A bold vision for a new East New York middle school became reality with AtW’s leadership. We represented Achievement First and partnered with Civic Builders to navigate challenging site conditions and secure critical agency approvals. As the school’s owner’s representative, we managed and communicated budget and schedule priorities with precision, working with all parties to balance quality expectations with schedule needs while keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the process. About the Work led branding efforts that strengthened the school’s community presence and guided planning decisions that maximized usable square footage, ultimately enabling more space for both students and the surrounding neighborhood. Through rigorous design coordination, consensus building, quality control, and construction oversight, About the Work delivered a facility that reflects community aspirations while advancing the school’s academic mission and facilitating a seamless handover to the property management team at completion.
