Creating the Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail, a 7.5-mile linear park along the Hudson River, has required a team that can adapt to changing needs while balancing extraordinary complexity. From the earliest phases, we have guided this multi-decade initiative through complicated state agency approvals, multiple environmental and public reviews, and the layered requirements of more than 20 public, private, and nonprofit stakeholders.
This visionary project advances environmental stewardship and public access at one of the most important natural and cultural sites in the United States. Our role has included building and maintaining a world-renowned project team of experts in their fields, assembled to match the significance of the location. Alongside typical project management tasks, we provide strategic leadership to keep the focus on a singular vision for world-class public space that combines landscape preservation, access, and design excellence.
By aligning stakeholders, managing design and permitting processes, and coordinating implementation across multiple sites, we have helped shape not just a park but an enduring civic legacy for the Hudson Valley and the nation.
