About the Work curated an award-winning team of five regional nonprofits including designers, landscape architects, structural and environmental engineers, and consultants to deliver 8 miles of ambitious scenic park. Scheduled for completion in 2027, our strategic implementation of state and federal funding, relationship building with key city and state agencies, and expert navigation of permitting and construction logistics will bring the public stellar views that’s well worth the wait. We’re excited to unveil this trail to the public and proud of our contribution to the restoration of the surrounding land, mitigation of local ecological stresses, and establishment of a true stewardship over the landscape by the Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve and the Fjord Trail’s future patrons.
